I think cora stays. he's one of "those guys".

how could either of us know anything about either lowrie or pedroia's range at short? based on the way the sox manage their personnel i would be shocked if they move pedroia, he's too much of a success at second. the thing is, where do you put lowrie? if he can play short you have to bite the bullet and trade lugo, maybe you can package him with crisp?

if he can't lay short, we'll have to trade him. I don't like the idea of trading him after seeing what he can do but when is he going to get playing time (other than injuries) with Yuke, Pedroia and Lowell in front of him?

Maybe they could trade him to a team with a top catching prospect?

It would suck to lose him though, he's definitely a winner.

Im slowly moving to the realization that sox need to get jed lowrie into the lineup on a regular basis. but not convinced he has the range for shortstop. same with pedroia.

yes...neither could be worse than lugo trying ot make throws out there. can we get rangers to take lugo for kason gabbard? no idea why...but i want gabbard back. if only to take bad aftertaste still lingering from gagne failure.

or is it time to release cora and turn lugo into the "super sub"? he also has late inning pinch runner benefits.
