Ok guys.  You just completed a fantastic homestand at the Fens.  Jon Lester throws a no-hitter thats the feel good story in all of baseball so far this year.  Justin Masterson had another great start.  Start looking for an apartment in downtown Boston, Justin.  Bartolo Colon returned the major leagues and got a W.  Dice-K has won 8 games and has an ERA around 2.5 (but still walking way too many games).  Pretty much the only thing that went wrong in this undeafeated homestand was Manny didn’t hit any homers (and holy crap, David Murphy has more RBIs than Manny so far).

You’re pretty much made it clear that you’re practically unbeatable at home.  Now is the time to make a statement to the rest of the American League that you can do it on the road.  10 wins and 14 losses as a road record is not so good.  Now you’re facing 10 games on the road against a couple of barely .500 teams and the worst team in the AL (Seattle).  Seven wins.  That what I want to see on this road trip.  That should strike fear into the rest of the AL..  Five wins and heading back to Boston is settling.  Keep telling  yourself that.
